Historic 1848 Burr Oak homestead was celebrated as a Century Farm in 1948 (meaning multiple generations of the same family occupied the home), photos of home & farm were published in the Wisconsin State Journal. As you tour the home, note black and white framed photos of each room on the walls of their respective rooms. Farmhouse boasts maple flooring, updated kitchen, new plumbing 2003, large DR, LR,& nook for den/office space. Roomy for family & guests. Three barns on property...the front barn was built in approx 1935 out of redwood and steel beams. The back barn was built in approx 1900 and the side barn has garage space, separate heated workshop with electricity. All barns were re-roofed in the years 1997 &1998.
